Accessibility Statement
Breyer GmbH Maschinenfabrik strives to make its websites accessible in accordance with Section 10 (1) of the State Disability Equality Act (L-BGG).
This accessibility statement applies to www.maschinenbau-im-blut.de, karriere.breyer.world, and breyer.world (including division pages).
1. Status of compliance with requirements
These websites are partially compliant with Section 10 (1) L-BGG due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
2. Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with Section 10 (1) L-BGG
- PDFs are currently not accessible, but will be revised in the near future.
- JavaScript elements are used on various pages that refer to content on the same page and are therefore considered by some software to be “broken same-page links.” However, the links work; this is a display error.
- In the footer, there is an option to print the entire displayed website. However, this option is hidden behind a JavaScript element that may not be compatible with all devices.
- Some email addresses are used multiple times on a website and are labeled as “redundant” by some software, meaning duplicated or unnecessary, which is not the case.
- JavaScript elements are used in various places to link to other pages without using a button. This may not be usable by every application.
- Due to the use of TYPO3 as the basis for this website, some links have the same title and content, which could be criticized by various software programs as duplicated or unnecessary.
- Not all videos have been provided with subtitles and transcripts, meaning that they are not available to all users in the same quality.
- Various elements on the web pages, such as image titles, may be repeated, which makes the use of assistive technologies somewhat more tedious. As this is due to the software used to create and maintain this site, it cannot be avoided.
- Currently, some images in our sliders and headers are available without accompanying text (alternative text), which impairs accessibility and is being gradually remedied.
- The “Sitemap” page is only partially accessible with assistive technology or is very confusing for such technology, as most of the titles on this page duplicate the links and link texts.
- The contrasts are currently not optimal and occur sporadically; however, continuous adjustments are being made to improve accessibility.
- There are still a few images and icons without alternative text, which will be added in the future to optimize the user experience for everyone.
- The hierarchy of automatically generated headings is not always adhered to, which can lead to problems when using assistive technologies.
